{{GIVEAWAY}} Penn-Mar Irish Festival on Saturday, June 18th

The Penn-Mar Irish Festival returns to the grounds of The Markets at Shrewsbury on Saturday, June 18, 2016, for a full day of Irish entertainment, shopping, food, and fun.
 
The annual festival in southern York County features traditional and contemporary live Irish music and dancers from Pennsylvania and Maryland, along with special guests, plus Irish food, children’s activities, door prizes, and a wide variety of vendors offering Irish goods including gifts, clothing, jewelry, music, books, pottery, photography, stained glass, and more.
 
The festival will open at 10:30 a.m. and kick off with several award-winning young representatives of the next generation of Irish traditional music, including Mikey McComiskey, Austin Smith, and Alexander Weir.
 
Other performers include: Burning Bridget Cleary, Down by the Glenside, Kilmaine Saints, Reel to Reel, Mickey Spain, and Screaming Orphans.
 
Fans of Irish dance will enjoy performances by Broesler School of Irish Dance, Hooley School of Irish Dance, McGinley School of Irish Dance, and Ni Riain School of Irish Dance.
 
A Children's Area will feature a variety of activities and a bounce house.
 
Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the gate (age 15 and younger are free).  Tickets are available online through Eventbrite.com, and at The Markets at Shrewsbury.
 
Some seating is provided, but lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.  Please, no pets (except service animals with identification) or coolers.
 
The Markets at Shrewsbury is located at 12025 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327 (in southern York County just off I-83 between exits 4 and 8). Look for signs along Susquehanna Trail for parking lots and shuttle bus.
