Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

This weeks recipe was submitted by Jenny Weitkamp. Thank you Jenn!

Super easy slow cooker salsa chicken!

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom ( I prefer cream of chicken)
1 cup salsa ( I add a little more, any type of salsa you prefer is fine)
1 pack taco seasoning
1 cup sour cream

Add all ingredients in crock pot, except the sour cream.  Cook on low for 6 hours. Add sour cream before serving. I serve this over brown rice, but I ...

  REACH was born out of a desire to bring about a change at a central Pennsylvania high school. We wanted to force students, teachers, administrators, and parents to face the issues that were being dealt with within the walls of a 21st Century high school. We wanted to show all people that there is an alternative to violence and hatred toward others. Above all, we wanted “REACH” to be relevant. The play is broken down into several "vignettes" and monologues that portray the tumultuous and hidden lives of young people in and out of school.

Admission for Fridays After Five includes the permanent exhibit halls, planetarium, and IMAX Theater on Friday evenings beginning at 5:00pm. Fridays September 9, 2011 through March 23, 2012, the Maryland Science Center is just $8 for admission during Fridays After Five. One low price covers everything except national touring exhibitions. IMAX presentations are at 7:00pm, Planetarium presentations are at 5:40pm, and you will encounter live science during your visit. Note* Kids room closes at 6pm on Fridays after Five.

Saturday, February 18 - P51 Mustang Model Build It Day Historical Society Museum

Join Chet Mohn, President of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of International Plastic Modelers Society, as he conducts a model building class. The class is open to children ages 10-14 (for participants less than 12 years old, parents are asked to stay with their child.) Participants will construct a 1:72 scale model of the World War II era P51 Mustang fighter plane. During the session, the basic history of the plane will be discussed as well as the background of the modeling hobby. (held 2/18/12)

  The Program is designed to bring children and their parents/guardians together to learn about changes that occur during adolescent years.  The program encourages important conversations by lowering the barriers so communication can continue at home. The program is offered at the Byrnes Health Education Center from 6:30 to 8:30PM. Offered on 2/21, 3/20, 4/17, & 5/15

Wednesday, February 29 - York County's Victim Assistance Center's 35th Anniversar​y Celebratio​n

For 35 years, VAC has provided crisis intervention, information, advocacy and ongoing counseling to the people of York County who are victims of sexual violence and other violent crimes. On Wednesday, February 29th, VAC will celebrate their 35th Anniversary at the YWCA on 320 East Market Street. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests can enjoy drinks, hors d’eouvres, a silent auction, and displayed artwork from VAC clients. Tickets are just $35
