As the weather gets colder it only gets cozier at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum as we get ready for the holidays.  The Museum is filled with dozens of decorated trees, model train displays and special vehicles for our holiday celebration! Traditional favorites like our Hess Toy Truck display, Sammy the 29 ft., 21 ton snow plow and the Grinch Scavenger Hunt are back again this year.

The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang US National Broadway Tour prop car --- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is based upon a vintage racing car that was featured in many forms including the original novel by Ian Fleming, movie and stage productions. The inspiration for Chitty came from early racing cars and the sound that these cars made as they were started which sparked the idea for the name.  This one-of-a kind prop car is being loaned to us from the collection of Tony Garofalo, a life-long collector of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang memorabilia.  This car has lots of surprises that are sure to delight including theatrical lighting, tires that tilt 45 degrees and of course her wings!

The AACA Museum is hosting a special movie night in honor of Chitty on January 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (movie begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs 144 minutes). Admission to this event is $18 for attendees 13 years and older, $15 for 4-12 years, children 3 and under are FREE. Admission price includes kid friendly foods, like hot dogs, popcorn, cookies, hot chocolate, and pizza. To purchase tickets online CLICK HERE or call the ticket counter at 717-566-7100 x100.

GIANT One-Of-A Kind Pedal Car --- This custom built car is meant to look just like a 1951 Murray General Pedal Car.  It was built upon a 1997 Ford Ranger chassis with a V6 3 litre engine.   The body was created using custom molds which were then destroyed by the owner to ensure that it will be the one and only of its kind (It is even drivable and 100% street legal)! Makes our Mini & Micro cars look even tinier!
