Nearly 600,000 Christmas lights will illuminate Rocky Ridge County Park during the 32nd annual “Christmas Magic – A Festival of Lights” at Rocky Ridge County Park.
“We invite the entire community to come out and experience the excitement of Christmas Magic, voted one of the best holiday events in Pennsylvania and the United States,” said Jeri Jones, Program Coordinator for Parks Department. “With the addition of a variety of new and exciting features, this year’s 32nd edition is sure to please.”
“Not only does the event feature an enchanting walk through captivating displays, there will also be musical entertainment to get people into the holiday spirit,” Jones said.
Christmas Magic is a 0.5-mile walking trail (accessible to anyone) that meanders along a wooded hilltop through nearly 600,000 Christmas lights, holiday scenes and five enclosed, heated pavilions. The spirit of the holiday is displayed by using animation, displays, Santa Claus, food and a G-gauge train display.
New this year:
•A “Monarchs Bring Santa To Town” scene at the Nixon Park Nature Center
•A Santa Claus scene constructed by the York County School of Technology carpentry shop. The new scene is sponsored by Smith Village Home Furnishings and Home Design and Build.
•Additional outdoor props
•A Larger G-gauge train display by the Susquehanna Garden Railroad Society
•Exciting new trail themes
•Light-O-Rama Synchronized lighting program written by Caleb Linburg
•Additional paving of the trail
•An ATM will now be available at the admission booth
When: November 27 through December 31 (closed December 24 and 25)

Cost: Adults, $8; Ages 4-12, $6; Age 3 and under, free; Seniors (ages 60+), $7; Children group rate (12+), $5; Adult group rate (12+), $7.
