Driving around town looking at Christmas light displays has become a family tradition for many families, it's a great inexpensive way to make Christmas memories that will last a lifetime. York County is blessed to have some amazing local displays. Below we've compiled a list of some of our subscriber's favorite light displays that are sure to excite and enchant your family this holiday season!
When visiting these local displays please remember the following:
~Respect the neighbors! None of these shows can continue without the blessings and support of the neighbors.
~Don’t block traffic
~Don’t block or use driveways
~No loud music, engines or horns
~Some locations do not have a physical address so we've tried our best to give you a general idea of the area where the display is located so give yourselves time to find them.

1.Kim's Krypt Winter Wonder Trail
Kim’s Krypt Haunted Mill presents the Winter Wonder Trail! This Family Friendly Festive walk through the glistening woods, filled with a gorgeous array of pretty lights, holiday music, snow! This festive all age event with crafts, S'mores by a toasty fire, Hot chocolate and SANTA!
Price- $8 Children under 3 are free

2. Christmas Magic 2021 A Festival of Lights
York County Parks is pleased to present the 38th edition of Christmas Magic! The event runs November 26 – December 30. The show will be closed on December 24, 25, and 31. Stroll through our festive half-mile, ADA accessible, woodland trail filled with numerous sparkling Christmas lights and holiday scenes.
We are thrilled to announce the return of our Friends of the Parks cookie and hot chocolate stand as well as Susquehanna Valley Garden Railway Society’s train display.
Admission to Christmas Magic is by online reservation only. Reservations can be made up until the last minute while available. Come at the time of your choice and stay until closing. Reservations are required; no walk-ins will be permitted. Timed admission limits the number of people attending Christmas Magic at one time, providing a better visiting experience and less waiting in traffic and lines. All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless the York County Parks closes the event due to weather and/or light outages. No other refund requests will be honored. Visit our FAQs page for more information.
Current government mandates in place regarding COVID at the time of admission will be followed.
Weather-Related Cancellations: Our lights and displays can be temperamental in the presence of snow, rain, ice, and fog. They may require more than a day to dry out after the weather improves. Please check your email after 1:30 on the day of your tickets for any cancellation messages. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a refund to your credit card on the following business day. This huge display is located on Chestnut Hill Road York near Ore Valley Elementary across from Susquehanna Gardens. Please bring a canned good for the less fortunate

7. Brookside Park Holly Jolly Drive Thru
Christmas in the Park has a new look this year. The park will be lit with Christmas lights from Thanksgiving through New Year's for your family to drive through and see.
8. Joy-O-Rama

The light show is synced to music and can be heard at 87.9 FM radio.
We are open from Thanksgiving to New Years, 4:30-10 PM, Sun.-Thu. and 4:30 to 11 PM, Fri.-Sat.

13.A Country FarmHoliday Light Show

We have over 50,000 lights all hand programmed and synchronized to music. Show brought to you by Goat’Cha soap shack.
Come watch our lights dance to the music (Tune radio to 95.5FM) from the comfort of your vehicles and make lasting memories for years to come.
Show is FREE of charge and runs daily from November 26, 2021 through January 2, 2022. (It will only let us set an event for 14 days.)
Lights come on at 5pm and will repeat the hour long show until 10:00pm. Those who wish to stay for the entire hour are asked to park if the traffic is backed up. We have quite a few parking areas and many spots to pull off.
Soap shack on premises and we are still open past our normal closing time as long as the lights are blinking. No one in shop? Ring the bell and someone will be right down. Grab your last minute stocking stuffers or gifts for loved ones.
FREE hot coco and cookies most Friday and Saturday nights. Available inside the Goat’Cha soap shack. Don’t worry, the inside is also decorated and dancing to music.

4 Zachary Dr. Hanover Pa. We offer free photos with Santa Clause on Friday and Saturday nights and some week nights (weather permitting). We also do photos with pets. Lights are active from 5pm to 3am.
