As soon as the weather turns cool and the leaves begin to change children all across York County are eager to pick their own pumpkins, take a hayride, and visit our local corn mazes too! To help ensure you don't miss any of our local fall attractions we’ve created a list below. Happy picking and enjoy getting lost in the many local corn mazes SoYoCo has to offer.
1.Maize Quest Fun Park
Maize Quest Fun Park was named the 2021 Macaroni Kid South York Best Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze by our local subscribers and we can see why! In addition to their Pumpkin Patch and Giant Corn Maze, Maize Quest offers a Jump Zone, a trackless train and over 30 other attractions that are sure to entertain your children for hours!
2.Family Tree Farm
From the PYO Pumpkin Patch to PYO apples and the corn maze, there's a ton of fun Fall fun waiting for you at the Family Tree Farm!
3.Orchard Valley Farm (Formerly known as the Brown's Orchard PYO Farm)
Orchard Valley Farm is a PYO farm located on 98 acres in southern Pennsylvania, growing strawberries, black raspberries, sweet cherries, 22 varieties of apples, 8 varieties of peaches, and an assortment of pumpkins. Call the picking line (717) 850-0079 for what’s ripe and the current field report. See you on the farm!
Bring your family to Miller Plant Farm for a day of Fall fun in the pick-your-own pumpkin patch where you can select your very own pumpkin and enjoy scenic views!
5. Shaw Orchard
Every Saturday in late Sept - October from 10am-4pm, Shaw's Orchard offers hayrides through the orchards to the pumpkin patch.
6.Flinchbaugh’s Orchard
In addition to their PYO Pumpkin Patch, your family can enjoy a corn maze, Sunflowers, PYO apples, and other fun kid's activities every weekend September-October.
7.Brown's Orchard
Brown's Orchard has plenty of apples and pumpkins available at the Market for eating, baking, carving and decorating.
In addition to the PYO Pumpkin Patch, your family can enjoy FREE wagon & tractor rides, visiting with Olive and Opal (the two Mules the farm rescued last year) as well as their equine pal's Ice and Chance. Hooves and Honey Farm also offers a large varsity of gourds, mums, hay bales, corn stalks, and their own fresh local honey for sale as well.
Farms hours are Saturday 10-5 Sunday 12-5. Wagon/Tractor rides typically run on the hour or as needed during slower times.

Come celebrate a traditional fall harvest season on the farm. It’s old-fashioned family fun in scenic York County, Pennsylvania. Come for the corn maze, apple-picking and pumpkin-picking (weekends), seasonal produce and farm-fresh goodies!
Pick-Your-Own Apples is open 7 days/week from September 1 - October 30, 2022. Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm, Labor Day and Columbus Day 12pm-5pm
Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins is open weekends only from September 17 - October 30. Saturdays 9am-6pm, Sundays 12pm-5pm, Columbus Day 12pm-5pm. The pumpkin patch is closed Monday-Friday but there are lots of pre-picked pumpkins by the farm store.
Reservations are required for Saturdays and Sundays
Your Pick-Your-Own ticket fee will be applied directly to your total cost. Each person needs a ticket for entrance into the apple orchard and/or pumpkin patch on weekends.
Fall Fun Admission Area:
Fun for ALL ages! This area includes a corn maze, jumping pillow, mega slide, rat rollers, gravity bin basketball, pedal karts, human foosball, and so much more. Many things for all ages to enjoy. Saturdays 9am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm.
- The Fall Fun Admission Area is Open on Saturdays and Sundays only - Advance Reservations are Required. Tickets will only be sold on site if not sold out online. Tickets online are discounted from onsite admission fee. Final entrance is 90 minutes prior to closing.
- Every person aged 3 and older must have a ticket for entrance. Please note children 12 and under will not be admitted without an adult.
- General Fall Fun Admission: Includes 1 turn on the Mega Slide and 1 turn on the Jumping Pillow
- Enhanced Fall Fun Admission: Includes unlimited turns on the Mega Slide and unlimited turns on the Jumping Pillow!
- Must be 42" or taller for Mega Slide
- Must be at least 3-years-old for Jumping Pillow. For the safety of all jumpers, jumpers will be split into 2 height groups (below 52" and 52" and above).
Children ages 0-2 are always free and do not require a ticket.
- We are using timed ticketing to manage the total number of guests. Admission to the orchard's fall activities is only guaranteed with an online ticket.
