Summer is heating up, and so is the Springettsbury Township recreation schedule! This season, the township is launching an exciting variety of new programs designed to keep community members of all ages active, creative, and engaged. Whether you are looking to introduce your toddler to dance, help your child master a sport, or find a rewarding workout routine for yourself, there is a class waiting for you.

Below is the complete breakdown of the upcoming June programs for kids and adults:


🧒 Dynamic Summer Classes for Kids

From high-energy sports camps to creative arts and relaxation, this June features an array of youth programs structured to build skills, confidence, and lasting summer memories.

Kids Yoga Foundations

When: Tuesdays, June 2 – June 23

Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

A perfect way for kids to develop flexibility, balance, and mindfulness early on.


Tennis for Kids  

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, June 9 – July 9

Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

An immersive, multi-day weekly program to learn the fundamentals of the game and practice regular drills.


Pre-Ballet/Jazz (Ages 3-5) 

When: Tuesdays, June 9 – July 28

Time: 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm

A gentle, playful introduction to dance rhythm and movement for the little ones.


Beginner Jazz (Ages 6-10) 

When: Tuesdays, June 9 – July 28

Time: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

An upbeat class focusing on basic jazz techniques, coordination, and fun choreography.


Pickup and Play Basketball Camp

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 16 – July 9

Time: 9:00 am – 10:15 am

Great for young athletes looking to hit the courts, scrimmage, and build teamwork skills.


Beginner Guitar for Kids

When: Mondays, July 6 – July 27

Time: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

A beginner-friendly class to introduce kids to chords, rhythm, and basic melodies.


Modern Rock Band Camp

When: Monday through Friday, July 13 – July 17

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

A high-energy, week-long day camp where aspiring musicians can jam together and experience the thrill of playing in a band.


🧑 Engaging Fitness and Wellness for Adults

It’s never too late to try something new or level up your fitness goals. The adult lineup offers everything from gentle mobility classes to intense, heart-pumping workouts.

Journey Into Power

 When: Thursdays, June 4 – July 9

Time: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm


Butts and Guts

When: Fridays, June 5 – June 26

Time: 10:00 am – 10:30 am

A fast-paced, targeted 30-minute workout designed to tone and strengthen your core and lower body.


Body Combat 45 

When: Select Tuesdays (June 9, June 30, July 21, August 4, and August 18)

Time: 10:30 am – 11:15 am

An empowering, martial-arts-inspired workout spread across select dates throughout the summer.


Healthy Steps in Motion

When: Mondays and Wednesdays, June 15 – July 8

Time: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

A bi-weekly program centered around building strength, improving balance, and increasing overall mobility.


Six Week Chair Yoga

When: Monday sessions run June 15 – August 3 | Thursday sessions run June 18 – August 6

Time: 9:00 am – 10:00 am

A gentle, accessible yoga practice utilizing chairs for support—ideal for seniors or anyone looking for low-impact stretching.


Six Week Basic Flow Yoga

When: Wednesdays, June 17 – July 29

Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Unwind in the evening with a traditional flow class focused on breathwork, alignment, and relaxation.


Women’s Self Defense Classes

When: Thursday, June 18

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

A crucial, single-session workshop teaching personal safety, awareness, and practical physical defense techniques.
