York City's beloved annual celebration of arts and culture, YorkFest, will return to its historic roots this year, setting up at the Colonial Courthouse and York County Rail Trail on Saturday and Sunday, August 30-31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The popular festival brings together artists, craftspeople, and vendors from across the region, offering visitors a chance to explore and purchase unique works while enjoying the charm of downtown York.

YorkFest activities will extend beyond the main venues with several complementary events:

  • Cherry Lane Park will serve as a music venue throughout the festival.
  • Gift Horse Brewery (117 N. George St.) will host a "Meet the Artists" reception on Friday evening before the festival, from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • The Handsome Cab restaurant will present "Arts on the Block" on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., transforming the 100 block of N. George Street into an art-focused block party. Arts on the Block Celebration  will include art sale,  plein air artists at work, a  dedicated kids corner, crafting tables & live painting of the "blue wall" that was installed to expand outdoor dining space

Visitors can enjoy the full YorkFest experience by exploring all locations throughout the weekend.
