The holidays are a magical time of year. It's a time to come together with family and friends, and the Stewartstown Railroad Company Holiday Excursions offer you the perfect way to make some magical memories with those you love! The holidays are also a chance for us to help those in need. So year we will also be hosting a Holiday Food Drive! We want to ensure everyone has enough food for the holidays, so we're asking that you bring a non-perishable food item along with you to be donated to a local food pantry. Some things that are most requested by food pantries are peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned stew, canned fish, canned beans, & pasta. We hope you'll join us for one or all three of our excursions this year! Tickets go on sale October 1st—get yours here before they sell out!
Santa Claus Express
We invite you to take a train ride with the big guy himself, Santa Claus! Our 1920 Passenger coach will be decorated for the season. Every family will have time to visit with Santa. Take your own photos at no extra charge. Every child will receive a treat from Santa. Children under 2 are free but require a ticket. This train ride is about 50-60 minutes long. Times listed are departure times. Please arrive 30 minutes early to pick up your ticket. Our train rides are rain or shine!

The Grinch Storybook Limited
This train ride, presented by The Friends of Stewartstown Railroad, offers a reading of the book, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by Dr. Seuss. There will be a sing-a-longs of the songs you know and love. And of course, everyone’s holiday favorite “The Mean Green One” himself will be there, and we expect him to be as bad-tempered as ever! Every family will have time to visit with our special “Green” visitor and every child will receive a treat. This ride might be best for older children, “The Mean Green One” can be scary for young (2 & 3 yr old) children. Because Santa Claus and “The Mean Green One” don’t get along, Santa decided to take this day off. Children under 2 sitting on an adult’s lap ride free but require a ticket.
