Come One, Come All to the 2024 Dover Fireman’s Fair!

The Dover Fireman’s Fair is back for its annual end-of-summer celebration from Thursday, August 29th through Monday, September 2nd. This year’s fair promises rides, games, delicious food, bingo, and displays to suit fairgoers of all ages.

Gates open at 5 pm Thursday through Sunday, and 3 pm on Saturday and Monday. Ride wristbands will be available each day to enjoy unlimited rides. For dinner, the Fire Department will be serving up their famous boiled turkey pot pie on Thursday, roast beef platters on Friday, chicken corn soup on Saturday, more pot pie on Sunday, and fish or hamburger platters on Monday. Meals start at 4 pm daily.

After you’ve filled up on a homecooked meal, be sure to save room for some classic fair treats like cotton candy and, candy apple Take a spin on thrill rides like the  Ferris Wheel or try your luck at a few carnival games or Bingo for a chance to win great prizes.

Live music and entertainment will keep the party going into the evening. On Thursday, enjoy Chris Woodward at 6:15 and 8 pm. Friday features Jesse Garron’s “A Tribute to Elvis” at 7:15 and 9:15 pm. Saturday welcomes country artist Dean Crawford, while Sunday brings the bluegrass tunes of Blue Stone at 6:15 and 8 pm. The Borderline band will close out the fair on Monday at 6:15 and 8 pm with their country and southern rock.
