YorkFest, a celebration of York City that coincides with York Arts Week, is a chance to pull our neighborhoods and communities together, then send them off to celebrate in their own welcoming ways.
Save the date for Saturday, Aug. 24 as we host Summer Art Markets across downtown York to help kick off York Arts Week! Local and regional artists will be a part of the markets in Cherry Lane and Royal Square. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also happening at the same time are:
- Codorus Creek Boat Parade with the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper
- Codorus Float at 1 p.m.
- Codorus Creek Race with Keystone Kidspace from 3-4 p.m.
- Pennsylvania Cigar Box Guitar Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The York Emporium
- Creative York's Chalk Walk from 9-4 in Continental Square
- Creative York's Mini Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Youth Art Exhibition - 2 p.m. at Marketview Arts
- Adult Juried Art Exhibit - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Creative York
