Looking for fun activities you can do with your baby or toddler? We often hear from a lot of caregivers that caring for younger children can feel isolating and that finding support, as well as friends, can be a struggle. To help we’ve created an Under 5 Guide filled with suggestions for classes and activities that we hope will help inspire you to get out of the house and interacting with others!
1. Storytime at the Library
With 13 local York County libraries to choose from there is a wide variety of baby, toddler, and preschool storytimes as well as special events happening weekly. Click here to find out the info for your local library.
2. Appell Center for the Performing Arts
The Appell Center for the Performing Arts offers a variety of programs for ages 0-5 years such as Tot Roc, a fun musical experience with infants, toddlers, and their families. throughout the year.

3. L & E Playhouse
Let your child’s imagination wander while you sit comfortably with a cup of coffee or get down and explore with them during your 2-hour play session in our 1900 sq. ft. facility of creativity.
4. Keystone Kidspace
Join us for special drop-in play hours, geared especially toward younger kiddos (ages 3-6)! Second Tuesday of each month during the school year from 9am to noon. Use the link at the top of the page to purchase your day passes today: $10 per person ages 4 and up.4.
5.Frolic- Parent & Child Studio
From infant yoga to ASL classes and event preschool theater groups Frolic offers a wide variety of classes for ages 0-5. Check out their website for a full list and to register.
6. Kids First Swim School
Kids First Swim School offers a variety of classes for ages 0-5 including Infant and Toddler classes, Mommy and Me Classes and Privite lessons.

8. Zumbini & Yoga at the Kindred Wellness Cafe
The Kindred Wellness Cafe offers weekly Zumbini Class & Yoga classes as well!
Zumbini Class
Ages 0-5 with a caregiver. Zumbini is the perfect bonding experience! Dancing, singing, and using instruments to original zumbini music will engage your little one for 45 minutes of FUN! Ages 0-5 with a caregiver.
Yoga
Bring your little one to their very own yoga class! Designed for ages 3-10, we will learn a fun themed yoga sequence. In this 30 minute class, your child will learn and practice a fun breathing technique while working through yoga flow with fun poses.
Mom Sit & Sip
Looking to connect with other local Moms? The Kindred Wellness Cafe offers a Monthly Mom Sit & Sip! Held on the last Wednesday of the month this relaxed event allows you to connect with other moms while your littles enjoy the coloring station, instruments, and playing. 9. YMCA OF THE ROSES
The York County YMCA branches offers a wide variety of programs as well as weekly Caregiver and Me Swimming classes.

11. Storytime at Brown's Orchard
Join Ms. Mary Thursdays from 9:30 am-10 am at Brown’s for a free storytime. Great for kids ages 3-7. Each week the stories surround a theme. Kids are welcome to dress or bring an item that fits the theme. Visit the Brown's website to view weekly themes.
12. Kindermusik at Windham Studios
Does your child love to sing and dance? Kindermusik at Windham Studios in Red Lion offers a wide variety of music programs for children 0-7ys.

13. The Curious Little Playhouse Hanover
The Curious Little Playhouse is a hands-on indoor kid's play space and toy store where adults and kiddos can let their imagination run wild during their 2-hour play session in their HUGE playroom. Click here for hours, admission, and upcoming event info.
14. Honey Bee Music Class
Join the Honey Bee Music Together class! This class is for children from birth through kindergarten and follows the recommendations of child development researchers by grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones, older children learn by leading younger ones, and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience, and any caregiver - parents, nanny, grandparents- can bring the child(ren) to class. During the Fall, Winter and Spring trimesters, classes meet once a week for a select number of weeks. Classes are held in Fawn Grove and Shrewsbury. Click here for more info.

16. EMC Tumbling, Music, and Dance Classes

17. Preschool Gymnastics at Skyline
Skyline's innovative preschool gymnastics program is designed to teach basic gymnastics skills and introduce class structure. Their unique preschool gym has circuits made up of Beams, Bars, Floor, and Jumping to keep your child moving and learning. They also offer a Tumble Together program is for 18months - 3 years old and allows the parent or caretaker to be in the class with their student.

Greater York Dance offers a wide range of Early Childhood Classes for ages 2-7years where children can learn spatial awareness, develop motor skills, and improve upon their balance, stamina, coordination, and strength while sparking creativity and preparing for performances.
