March Childrens and Family Art Classes at Creative York.

Headed downtown and want to plan something fun for your kids? Try out our Kids Night Out Art Class! We will teach your kids a variety art techniques through working on unique projects throughout the evening.

This class runs the same time as our Date Night Pottery Class!

Let’s build some portrait drawing skills! Students will study at the masters and create a variety of portraits in different styles. Learn what it means to create a portrait!

(4 weeks) Wednesdays, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26 from 6-8pm

Join us for this Parent and Child workshop based on the children’s book, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle! We will read the book aloud in the gallery, and then move upstairs to create an art project based on the story. Registration is per child.

Saturday, March 8 from 10-11am

Learn a variety of clay sculpting skills in this 6 week clay class for homeschool students! Students will work on a variety of different wall-hanging projects such as name plates, picture frames, shelves and more to learn the basics of clay sculpting and assemblage! This class is open to beginner and experienced students. All supplies are included.

(6 weeks) Wednesdays 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16 from 11am-1pm

Get in the St Paddy’s day spirit and make some art! Students will make a variety of different projects all centered around the fun of St Patrick’s Day!

Saturday, March 15 from 9-11am

Make your own mug in this one day workshop! Students will learn how to create their own drinking mug by using slab building techniques, carving, additives, and more! Each mug will be glazed with a food safe glaze, so they will be able to be used for drinks once fired in the kiln.
