Kick off the planting season with these activities, food trucks, and workshops:
- Parma Pizza food truck and On My Grind coffee truck will be onsite serving 10am-3pm.
-Kids are invited to participate in our Seed Starter activity
Starting seeds with children indoors is a fun family gardening project! Kick off Spring with seed planting, then watch the seeds sprout up close at home.
Kids will plant 6 easy-to-grow seed varieties with the help of their parent or guardian along with our knowledgeable staff. Then they will take the plantings home, along with an information sheet on successful growing tips. Children can watch the seeds sprout into flowers and vegetables from home! Transplant outside once the weather is fit, and enjoy the fruits of their labor this Summer!
The activity is $10 per child or $15 to include a bakery decorating activity. There are no specific time slots to be reserved, but the event will take place beginning at 10:00AM and will conclude at 1:00PM; please come during this time when you are able. Registration is preferred, and walk-ins will only be accepted if space and product is available. We do not guarantee a bountiful harvest, but do hope your child will have fun playing in the dirt and cultivating their green thumbs!

- Face Paint Chick will also be on-site from 10am-2pm ($.)
- Visit with 4-H critters from 10am-12pm.
- Join us for an Easter Floral Design workshop at 2pm.

During this one-hour workshop, our staff will assist you in designing a stunning Spring floral arrangement including greens, accent flowers, branches, and holiday embellishments. Our main focus will be spring flowers and bulbs, taking full-advantage of seasonal blooms. There is a flat workshop fee of $50 to attend this event. Containers, stems, instructions, and refreshments are included in the workshop fee. You will leave this class with your creation, care instruction, and the knowledge you will need to recreate this project! Exact containers and products will vary based upon availability.
