National Night Out Events in York County

National Night Out is Aug. 1

National Night Out is an annual event, started in 1984, to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships.

Since then, millions of people in 16,000 communities have taken part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.

This year, National Night Out takes place in York County the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 1.

East Berlin: Join us  August 1 at 5:30 pm for an evening of fun family activities at the East Berlin Area Community Center 405 North Ave, East Berlin! We will also distribute school supplies for your kiddo's upcoming school year.


Fairview Township Police Department: Fairview Township National Night Out  5 to 8 p.m. at Roof Park, 599 Lewisberry Road.


Glen Rock: SYCSD School board candidates Arpin, Fallin, Hall, Jarvis, and Weaver-Watts are hosting National Night Out on August 1 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at the Glen Rock Park 5400 Fair School Rd, Glen Rock. Join them for an evening of food, family, and fun. All are welcome. 


Hellam Township Police: Hellam Township’s ‘National Night Out’ event will take place on August 1, 2023, from 6PM-8PM, at 45 Walnut Springs Road York, PA 17406. There will be live music, raffles, food trucks, and plenty of freebies! Fun for the whole family, including face painting, a reptile and critter experience, games, and much more. There will also be a live K-9 demonstration, with our favorite furry friend, Cerberus! Come out and spend the evening celebrating Hellam Township PD’s finest!


Jefferson Community: National Night Out August 1   6 pm to 8 pm at the Ball Field by the Lions Pavillion 57 Hanover St Codorus 17311


Lower Windsor Township Police:  Join our police department, local fire departments and other organizations  August 1 at 5:30pm for a celebratory evening at Rexroth Park, 1910 Prayer Mission Road in Windsor.


Manchester:  Come out August 1 at 5:00pm and meet your local Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire Departments at Orendorf Elementary School

Newberry Township Police Department: The Newberry Township Police Department  National Night Out August 1 6 p.m. at the BAPS Motor Speedway, 690 York Road in York Haven. N.T.P.D. is proud to participate in the annual National Night Out. This event brings together police and community for a night of  free activities, food, prizes and entertainment.  


Northern York County Regional Police:  On Tuesday August 1, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:00pm the Northern York County Regional Police Department and our constituent municipalities will host our 12th annual National Night Out Celebration.  National Night Out is designed to foster improved police-community relations and  provides for an atmosphere for the police department and its citizens to interact.

The theme for this year will be a community cookout and free concert. NYCRPD Officers and Staff will still be preparing and serving hamburgers and hot dogs. Additional food and snacks will be added as sponsors and vendors are confirmed.

NYCRPD’s National Night Out will be held at the Union Fire and Hose Company located at 30 East Canal Street in Dover Borough.

Everything at the event is free of charge and is open to anyone living in Conewago Township, Dover Borough, Dover Township, Franklin Township, Heidelberg Township, Jackson Township, Manchester Township, Manheim Township, North Codorus Township, North York Borough, and Paradise Township.


Penn Township, Hanover Borough and West Manheim Police: National Night Out will be held on, August 1st, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Emory H. Markle Middle School, 225 Bowman Road Hanover, PA 17331 within Penn Township. The event will be held jointly by the Penn Township Police Department, Hanover Borough Police Department, West Manheim Township Police Department and Conewago Township Police Department. Free food, drinks and snacks will be provided to the community during the event. Everyone will have a chance to interact with police officers, police canines, firefighters, EMT’s and several other emergency responders and community providers. There will be a free bicycle raffle at the conclusion of the event where bicycles and helmets will be raffled off to kids 14 years old and younger. You must be present to win. Invite your friends, family and neighbors. Everyone is invited! We hope that you will join us in celebrating this special community event!


Springettsbury Township Police: Springettsbury Township Police National Night Out  5 to 8 p.m. at Springettsbury Park 1501 Mt Zion Rd, York.


West Manchester Township Police: West Manchester Township is pleased to announce that we will host another National Night Out at Sunset Lane Park (2458 Sunset Lane) this year on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 from 5pm-8pm. There will be games, music, food, vendors, giveaways and fun for both kids and adults.

 

Winterstown: National Night Out will be held on August 1st, between 5pm-8pm at the Winterstown United Methodist Church 12184 Winterstown Rd,Felton. Come out and join us for a fun-filled evening


York City:

Mi Tierra  Barbershop: Free haircuts for school ages children at 10:00 am 

CPC: Join Community Progress Council for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, an annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. CPC will host a neighborhood block party from 5 to 7 p.m. on East College Avenue between South Queen and Pine streets, in front of the Noell building.
