National Night Out is an annual event, started in 1984, to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships.
Since then, millions of people in 16,000 communities have taken part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
This year, National Night Out takes place in York County the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Community Progress Council Join Community Progress Council for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, an annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.CPC will host a neighborhood block party from 5 to 7 p.m. on East College Avenue between South Queen and Pine streets, in front of the Noell building.
Union Lutheran Church York, PA Don't miss one of the biggest parties of the year as Union celebrates National Night Out August 2 from 6 pm to 8pm . This is a great evening of fun with friends from Union and our community. There will be food, entertainment, activities and games for all ages and more! We close down the street, serve a delicious FREE meal, and then turn up the music! Make sure to save the date and plan to attend the fun.
