In this SPARK activity, participants will investigate chemical reactions using everyday household materials while exploring the science of oxidation and chemical change. 🛍️ Mini Makers Gift Market

Details: Jion us for the semi-annual Mini Makers Gift Market: a kid-powered pop-up featuring handmade goods created by creative entrepreneurs ages 6-18. This spring’s market will take place in Curiosity Hall, allowing us to welcome even more Mini Makers (and their supporters!) under one roof.
What are “Mini Makers”?
Creative entrepreneurs ages 6-18 who design, craft, and sell their own handmade goods.
What will be for sale?
All items are handmade or created by the Mini Makers themselves. Most goods are priced under $10 - perfect for gifting (or keeping!).

Mini Makers must apply and receive pre-approval to participate in this event. Vendor registration is $15 per Mini Maker, which includes:

🧵 Sewing for Beginners – Level 1

Ready to try your hand at machine sewing? Join Ms. Melissa for Level 1 of this beginner-friendly series and learn the essentials while creating your very own tote bag!
Working with pre-cut fabric and sewing machines, makers will explore how a sewing machine works and practice the foundational skills that bring a project together—from winding a bobbin and threading the machine to choosing stitches, adjusting tension, and sewing straight seams.
No experience is necessary for this class—bring your curiosity and excitement, and we’ll provide the rest!
Please note: Sewing for Beginners (Level 1) is a two-week course. Participants should plan to attend both sessions.

Parking & Directions
You’ll find us at 10 East Hamilton Avenue York and easily accessible from I-83, Route 30 and the Heritage Rail Trail. Free Parking is available — with the exception that each car must have a parking tag or daily pass displayed. During York Revolution home games, members and visitors will be required to pay for parking.
