January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month in Pennsylvania and one of our favorite places to take our loved ones for some winter fun is Roundtop Mountain Resort. Whether you're looking to hit the ski slopes on “The Mountain” or snow tubing Roundtop Mountain Resort provides fun for individuals of all ages.
Skiing
Roundtop offers terrain for all ability levels, two terrain parks, and a half pipe. The excitement doesn't end when the sun goes down! Thanks to Roundtops Night Skiing hours you can spend your evening taking laps on the trails after a long day of work, or school. Night skiing at Roundtop is a unique and thrilling experience with fully lit trails and twinkling skyline views make for memorable experiences under the moonlit sky!
Snow Tubing
Roundtop Mountain Resort Snow Tubing features up to 10 large tubing lanes. The runs are 800' long and have a vertical drop of 80'. No need to walk up the hill, our covered Magic Carpet lift will take you right back to the top! Thanks to our experienced snowmaking team, you can always count on the best snow conditions in the region. Guests must be 42" or taller to tube the main hill.
Kiddie Tubing is a special area for guests 41" tall and under. Smaller child-sized tubes are a great fit for younger tubers. Parents and kids either walk back up, or parents can pull their child back up in the tube. Parents are asked not to ride tubes in this area as it is designed with smaller guests in mind.
Lessons
Whether you're new to the sport, or have been skiing or riding for years, the passionate and experienced Roundtop instructors will help get you to your desired ski and snowboarding level! Lessons are avaialble for both children and adults. Click here for more info.
