Get on board for the Reading Express! Enjoy the scenery of the Heritage Rail Trail County Park as the you listen to stories read by our special guest. Dr. Tony Fredericks will be reading his special children’s alphabet book “All Aboard Starts with A” that specifically showcases the Northern Central Railway. Anthony D. Fredericks (www.anthonydfredericks.com) is Professor Emeritus of Education at York College of PA and the new Education Coordinator for NCR. In addition, he is an award-winning and best-selling children’s author of more than 50 children’s books including “Tall Tall Tree” and “Mountain Night, Mountain Day”.

The coaches are pushed and pulled by our vintage diesel locomotive.
This excursion is 45 minutes.
