Camp attendees will present a celebration dance at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 23. Dance camp will be held at the Upper School location of the York Academy Regional Charter School at 2 Hamilton Avenue in York. Interested students must register by Friday, July 9 at yorklibraries.org/events to participate.

Positive Energy Arts delivers quality arts and dance education programming as a catalyst for positive change in communities across Central Pennsylvania. York County Libraries and Positive Energy Arts first started working together in 2016. And as a result of their debut event, Illstyle and Peace Productions had community members outside dancing on North George Street during the Olde York Street Fair. The troupe stayed in town as an artist-in-residence to deliver educational programs throughout the School District of the City of York and to teach the first

SummerQuest dance camp.

SummerQuest features a variety of educational events for youth from birth to 18 over the summer months. Thanks to the generous support of The York Water Company with additional support by WellSpan Health, and The GIANT Company, the SummerQuest program is provided

free of cost to participants.
