Children who have completed grades K-5 are invited to join us for a FUN VBS week at Advent Lutheran Church Sunday, July 9 -Thursday, July 13 from 6 to 8:15! We are using the Stellar: Shine Jesus' Light curriculum this year. ALL are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Shining the Light of Jesus through drama, missions, imagination, games and snacks!
Join us this year as we learn more about how we can shine Jesus’ light at Stellar VBS. During our VBS adventure, we will explore how when life feels dark, when people don’t get along, when good things happen, when people are sad and when people need help, we can shine Jesus’ light. Kids will rotate through stations- Stellar Bible Adventures, All Star Games, Galactic Snacks, Kid Vid Cinema and Imagination Station each night as they learn more about Jesus’ light. This year, our VBS program will run from Sunday, June 11 through Thursday, June 15, with a closing program on Friday, June 16.
Our Vacation Bible School is offered to children ages 3 years through 12th grade. Students in grades 7 through 12 will be separated from the children’s VBS program for more age-appropriate Bible studies and activities.

This year’s VBS is Keepers of the Kingdom: Standing Strong in Today's Battle for Truth, and will run July 24-28, from 9am-12pm.
Keepers of the Kingdom: Standing Strong in Today's Battle for Truth - Kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth.
Each day will include lively songs, skits, Bible lessons, snacks, science & crafts, games, and more.

Food Truck Party VBS June 14th-July 26th.
VBS is held every Wednesday from 6pm - 7:30pm.
We are having a Kickoff Food Truck Party event on Sunday, June 11th from 3-6 in our parking lot with REAL local food trucks.
VBS Participants are accepted between 3 years old (if potty trained) and up to finishing 5th grade. Anyone finishing 6th grade and older is welcome to volunteer to help.

Welcome to Changemakers Lab, an interactive Vacation Bible School where children learn that everyone can make a difference in the world! The five Bible stories in this curriculum explore examples of people who experienced and brought about change in the world around them. These people provide a model for asking hard questions, working together to solve problems, reaching across differences, caring for all people, and imagining a new world.

Each year in July, we host a week of Vacation Bible School for our community. This week is always a highlight of our year. Buses and vans come in filled with children and teens alike for a fun-filled week where we provide daily classes Monday-Friday for K4 – Sr. High. Others bring their children and get a chance to see our daily program in action.A day at VBS in the summer includes singing, Bible lessons, skits, a missionary minute, games, mixers, prizes, and snacks. Each year our VBS ends with a closing program on Sunday night where parents are invited to see what their children learned throughout the special event and enjoy a time of refreshment and fellowship.
