Aldersgate Church will hold an Earth Day Celebration this Saturday, April 13 from 10:00-12:30pm. Aldersgate Church is conveniently located just off I-83 at the South Queen Street Exit. The address is 397 Tyler Run Road, York, PA 17403.
All are welcome to participate in these FREE activities!
- Plant Pansies in the flower beds around the church (You can bring your own flowers or plant pansies that are provide)
- Build a Bluebird House. You can either take this bird house home with you or leave to use at the church. Pre-registration is required. Email DNorris@susumc.org to register.
- Learn about Backyard Beekeeping.
- Recycle electronics (No TV’s Please!) and gently used shoes. We will accept these items until 11:30am.
- Plant replacement trees around the church
- Spruce Up trees and flower beds. You can pick-up sticks and winter debris and pull weeds.
