Ski Slopes and Waterslides at Camelback Resort

What is the perfect vacation? I guess it depends on who you ask. If you ask my husband he will say cold, snowy, with plenty of skiing. If you ask me I'd say warm with plenty of swimming. If you'd ask my children they would say fun with lots of things to do. So how do we make everyone happy? Easy! We go to Camelback Resort.

Camelback Resort is a family adventure resort that has something for everyone. Want to ski or snowboard? Camelback has 38 trails and was voted the #1 place to learn how to ski or ride. Want to snow tube? Camelback has the largest snow tubing park in the US. Rather wear a swimsuit? Camelback has the #1 indoor waterpark, as voted by USA Today, for 2018. Have a little daredevil? Did I mention Camelback has an indoor ropes courses and a year-round Mountain Coaster? Camelback has something for everyone and it is an all-in-one resort.

On our recent trip to Camelback, we spent our first day on the slopes. My husband is an avid skier and has skied all over the United States and enjoyed Camelbackback's trails during our visit. Camelback is a family-friendly mountain with 166 well-groomed ski acres of mountain, a total of 38 trails, and a good variety of difficulty. From advanced to beginner perspective, Camelback has trails for everyone. If you are a novice, we had a few friends who completed Camelback's ski and boarding school and were comfortable after the class to go down a few hills on their own! In the evening we did Galatic Snowtubing which is an amazing experience. With 42 lightning fast lanes, Galatic Snowtubing is an after-dark experience with music and disco lighting. It was a fun and unique experience that I can not wait to do again.

Then in true Camelback fashion, we headed straight from the snow-covered slopes to the waterslides! Camelback Resort has a huge indoor waterpark called Aquatopia and from wave pool, to hot tub, to waterslides, Aquatopia has something for everyone. We explored Aquatopia with my 18-month-old son and much to my surprise there was plenty to do with a baby. We spent a lot of time standing in the wave pool as waves crashed around us. We also spent a lot of time chilling with the penguins in Penguin Play Bay. Penguin Play Bay is designed for little ones 42" and under and has multiple water sprayers, sprinklers, and interactive water features for toddlers. My son's favorite part was the water bouncers where he could jump up and down in the water. My husband snuck away a few times in Aquatopia and was able to take advantage of their 13 different water slides including a head-first mat waterslide, high-speed body slides, a free-fall body slide and more!

Plus, Camelback Resort has tons of other family-friendly options in their resort. Including a two-level arcade, lazartag, pottery painting, rock wall climbing, ropes courses, and more. They also have several delicious restaurants so you do not need to leave the resort. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Camelback and we were never disappointed with their dining options.
