I have partnered with Dannon Danimals to discuss Danimals Yo-Tubes and Danimals Squeezables. I have been compensated for my time. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
Sometimes I have “mom envy”. For example, my one friend always posts pictures of the lunch box napkin art that she sketches for her son. I swear every napkin is a masterpiece with various seasonal themes or perfectly drawn characters. Ugh, why can’t I be the cool mom that rocks the lunchbox with napkin art? Unfortunately, I was not blessed with that talent however I found my momfidence and a way to rock my daughter’s lunch box! My lunchbox secret weapon is super easy and can be bought at our local grocery store –it’s Danimals Yo-Tubes!
My daughter is at school for seven long hours Monday through Friday. I try my best to keep things fresh and fun for her and lunchtime is the perfect opportunity for me to slip a little excitement into her school day. Since I couldn’t produce napkin masterpieces, I went with something more my speed, Danimals Yo-Tubes. Danimals Yo-Tubes are a nutritious yogurt squeeze tubes made with all natural ingredients with Vitamin D, They are a good source of calcium and vitamin D but my favorite part is that they are fun! The Yo-Tubes are a bright red color with a fun monkey design. I think they are so cute that I can’t help but smile every time I see them. My daughter loves them and always gets excited when I tell her I packed a Danimals!
Plus, they are easy! I keep them in the freezer, pop them in the lunch box, and they will be ready to go by lunchtime. I try to follow the My Plate Guidelines and pack her a nutritious lunch. In this lunch I packed turkey wrapped in a whole grain tortilla, ½ cup of fruit, 1 cup of romaine with a smile drizzle of low fat ranch, 1.5 oz of fresh mozzarella, a bottle of water, and, of course, a Danimals!
We also enjoy Danimals frequently for on-the-go snacking like on the way to rehearsal or practice. We recently incorporate the Danimals Yo-Tubes into my son’s diet. (He’s too young to enjoy the jokes on packaging but they make me giggle.) I feel good feeding him all natural ingredients with Vitamin D yogurt with no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. He loves the taste and gobbles it up!
So if you’re looking to sneak a fun and nutritious surprise into your kid’s school day, don’t stay up late sketching on napkins, just grab Danimals Yo-Tubes at the grocery store. I get them at Giant Food Stores.
