The warmer temps and beautiful weather of spring have us wanting to be outdoors but we still love watching movies together inside. So when we received an advanced copy of the Disney movie Tangled Before Ever After we decided to host a party that would allow kids to enjoy the movie and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
Disney's Tangled Before Ever After is a sequel to the movie Tangled starring Rapunzel. The Tangled Before Ever After movie is also an introduction to the Disney Channel TV show Tangled The Series. Tangled Before Ever After is an awesome family-friendly movie that will not disappoint. Mandy Moore returns to voice Rapunzel along with several familiar faces like Eugene (Flynn Rider), the chameleon Pascal and Maximus the horse. Plus a few new & lively characters are introduced. The movie is fun and exciting with tons of comic relief. You can expect the occasional flying frying pan and Rapunzel's signature display of self-awareness and girl power.
When the movie concluded at our party we headed outside to enjoy the day and to play a few Tangled inspired games and crafts. We started with a Tangled game using golden streamers. The kids paired up and had 2 minutes to wrap their partner and see who could become the most Tangled! After we finished we switched so everyone had a chance to get Tangled! This game was fun to play and hysterical to watch!
Then we made Rapunzel hair ribbons! We used golden yellow plastic tablecloths trimmed into 1 1/2" strips that were looped around a hair tie using a simple slip knot. The kid's loved running around with their long Rapunzel locks blowing behind them!
Next we decorated our own paper lanterns that were iconic in the original movie Tangled. We decorated the lanterns with markers and then used them as night lights in our bedrooms.
We had an amazing time at the party and everyone enjoyed Disney's movie Tangled Before Ever After.
