The Karate Kid Screening – with special Q & A with Ralph Macchio himself is coming to Santander Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Jan. 23. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
The Karate Kid premiered in 1984 to both critical and commercial acclaim. Listed inEntertainment Weekly’s Top 50 of “Best High School Movies” ever made, the film, directed by John Avildsen (Rocky), captured the thrill of the underdog and inspired thousands of young kids nationwide.
The movie made a bona fide star out of Macchio, who will share his experience and behind-the-scenes stories with fans of the movie in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see The Karate Kid on the big screen, and hear from Ralph himself!
