Macaroni Menus: Kid-approved Pasta Salad

Picky eaters at your picnic? Try out this kid-approved pasta salad. It’s quick, easy and – best of all – yummy!

Ingredients:
  • 12 oz. box of pasta (use spirals for some extra fun!)
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 ½ to 2 cucumbers
  • ½ block of Colby or your favorite cheese, cut into chunks
  • 1 can sliced black olives, drained
  • Handful of mini pepperoni
  • Salad Supreme seasoning
  • Zesty Italian dressing
Directions:
  1. Cook pasta as directed, drain and rinse with cold water
  2. Dice tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese 
  3. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl
  4. Season with Salad Supreme (or a combination of your favorite herbs and seasonings)
  5. Pour generous amount of dressing over all (approx. ½ cup)
Let salad sit in the refrigerator for about 1 hour before serving. You may need to add more dressing prior to serving as the noodles absorb it.
