The Appell Center offers Summer Camp experiences that inspire, excite, and empower students, young artists, and the community.

Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Camp Wood Haven overnight programs blend classic camp magic with purposeful growth, helping campers build independence, resilience, and teamwork while still having the time of their lives. Widely recognized across the Midwest as Ohio’s premier summer camp, Falcon is an excellent opportunity for young people to gain a strong camping experience---and have a great time!  

Falcon offers a beautiful lakefront setting, a talented mature staff, and a wide variety of activities. Our 1:4 staff/camper ratio enables us to give each Falcon camper the individual attention necessary to ensure a summer of fun and learning. Falcon counselors average five years of “Falcon experience” as campers and staff. Falcon is accredited by the American Camp Association under a set of over 300 standards emphasizing health, safety, and program quality.

Roundtop Mountain Summer is a place where kids get to be kids, unplug from technology and discover the joy of nature. 

The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling. Join our engaging community of learners!
