Springettsbury Township is pulling out all the stops to honor the nation’s 250th anniversary on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Springettsbury Park (1501 Mt. Zion Rd., York, PA). Sponsored by Hollywood Casino York, this free, family-friendly event promises an evening packed with high-energy music, mouthwatering local eats, and a jaw-dropping aerial spectacle.
The excitement kicks off at 7:00 PM with a live concert by national patriotic rock artist and U.S. Navy veteran Dave Bray USA. As music fills the park, families can enjoy larger-than-life entertainment from Uncle Sam stilt walkers and interactive character appearances throughout the grounds.
As night falls, the main event takes to the sky. At 8:45 PM, eyes will turn upward for a state-of-the-art America 250 Drone Show, brilliantly synchronized alongside a fireworks display that promises to illuminate the York skyline.
No celebration is complete without great food, and the event features a star-studded lineup of local favorites:
- Savory Bites: That Pig Place, Mac Stack, The Taco RV, and Brickers French Fries
- Sweet Treats & Refreshments: Sarah's Creamery, Wilson's Funnel Cakes, Kona Ice, Food Adventures, and Stacy's Orangeade
