Looking for a fun way to keep the kids active, make new friends, and try something different this fall? Suburban Bowlerama in York is getting ready to kick off its youth bowling season with a special free event and youth leagues designed for bowlers of all ages and skill levels!
Whether your child is brand new to bowling or already loves hitting the lanes, there are several ways to get involved this fall.
🚀 Youth Blast Off — August 29
The season kicks off with Youth Blast Off, a FREE bowling event on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Kids can enjoy a fun introduction to youth bowling with:
🎳 Two games of bowling
👟 Free shoe rental
🍕 Pizza and a drink
🎁 Registration specials and prizes
👨👩👧 Parents are welcome
✨ No obligation to join a league
Registration begins at 11:30 AM, making this a great opportunity for families to check out Suburban Bowlerama, meet other young bowlers, and see what the youth programs are all about—all at no cost.
🎳 Youth Leagues Begin September 12
Youth leagues officially begin Saturday, September 12, with bowling every Saturday at 10:00 AM.
The Youth All-Stars League is a USBC-certified youth league for boys and girls ages 17 and under. Bowlers will play three games each week while building skills, teamwork, confidence, and friendships along the way.
The league includes:
- Weekly bowling and coaching
- 3 games each week
- $13 per week, with shoes included
- $20 registration fee
- Two 14-week sessions
- Season-ending awards party
🎳 A Program for Younger Bowlers, Too!
Suburban Bowlerama also offers a 10 & Under Youth Program for children who may not be ready for a competitive youth league.
This fun, friendly, and non-competitive program features two-person teams and two games each week. Bumpers are available for children ages 4–8, while tweens bowl without bumpers.
The program costs $10 per week, including two games and shoe rental, with a one-time $20 registration fee. Families can participate in one session or both.
Session One: Begins September 12, 2026
Session Two: Begins January 9, 2027
Youth bowling is more than just knocking down pins. It's an opportunity for kids to practice teamwork, develop new skills, build confidence, and spend time with other local families in a welcoming environment.
